Why I started

Whenever I go to post onto this site I always wonder why I do it. Why do I post these regardless of the views? I do it for myself, to vent. I don’t know. Possibly.

I first began this as a way to just vent thoughts out of my head. Regardless of what others thought on here. I still do, I do not do it for views or response. But for enjoyment. I find it to be a great stress reliver. I have told almost no one I know about this site, because ehy should I. I dont do it for anyone else just for me. This may seem selfish and maybe it is or maybe im just confused. If I truly did it for myself then why do I post them online. Maybe I think I do it for myself but I really dont. I dont know.

Either way it makes me feel calmy and relaxed when I post these.

Ice or Fire

I recently read an article about global warming and the next Ice Age. The article was interesting so I thought I would share a little bit about it here.

Essentially, the Earth fluctuates its global temperatures every couple of thousand years, based off of oxygen and CO2 levels. The next major wave off “ice age” is predicted to be in around 1500 years, roughly. However, with increasing levels off co2 produced by carbon emissions will the two forces balance each other out. Would humans actually benefit the health of the earth for once?

I do think that the ice age will still be noticeable. The last ice age experienced average temperatures of around 4 degrees Fahrenheit, but global warming would have a serious effect. However, the question arises, will humans even exist in 1500 years. I don’t know, with our nuclear weapons capabilities. 1500 years is a long time and in this day of age who knows what could happen tomorrow.

One Billion Lives

Although rather unknown, one man is credited with saving a billion lives; that man is Norman Borlaug.

Norman Borlaug was a biologist from Iowa who used his knowledge to save lives.

Norman researched in Mexico and set upon making a productive species of wheat. Through breeding and genetic modifications he was able to create a high yield, disease resistant, semi dwarf species of wheat which saved the world for many people. Norman Borlaug recieved many awards including the Noble Peace Prize, but still remains largely unknown.

For his humanutarian effort, I consider Borlaug a role model and a hero.

Lions vs The Sun

Through various social media sites, many questions have spread and answered

One question though has remained relevant for quite some and time and is remarkably odd. The question is one trillion lions or the sun, who would in a fight.

The obvious answer is the sun, but many still believe that the lions are quite large. Here are the facts:

1 lion weights  around 350lbs

The sun’s mass  1.989 × 10^30 kg

Therefore 350 lbs= 158.757 kg

Thus 1 trillion lions equals 158757000000000 kg

Divide the sun’s by the lions mass and the sun is 1.2528×10^16 times more massive.

Or 1.25 ten quintillion times more massive.

Ya even if the lions all collided with the sun, the sun would just consume the mass of lions without the tiniest of regards

North Korean Missle Crisis

Just earlier this week the area surronding South Korea experienced a magnitude 5 earthquake. Whether this earthquake was natural or not was not under question until the Supreme Leader of North Korea, Kim Jung Un, declared that it was a successful Hydrogen Bomb test.

This statement sent panic throughout the entire world and even in some of the allies of the state such as China. The man and country that had become internet memes related to nuclear weapons may have done what the world saw impossible.

Experts are highly speculative of Kim’s statement related to the hydrogen bomb, and dispute his claim because the magnitude of the earthquake was way too low. Not only that but the technology to produce such a weapon is believed to surpass the ability of NK. It is much more likely that it was a “normal” uranium related nuclear weapon.

Regardless, the whole incident could have just been a natural earthquake and Kim is using it to his advatage. If it was a nuke even non-hydrogen then the ability that NK has as a world power has just risen greatly. The effect of a nuclear weapon on the near capital of Seoul or even part of the United States would be catastrophic.

Now South Korea has resumed blasting K-pop music with speakers towards Pyongyang. I disagree with the tactics of SK in this heated time. It will be interesting to see what will come out of this if anything.
